Premises:
Former shop, now converted. Meeting space, kitchen and
bring-and-buy area.
Description:
· Membership is open to all local residents. Most are Council tenants, some
are
Housing Association, others are private, some leaseholders and a few owner
occupiers.
· CSATRA is financially independent and has no paid staff.
· The Association was set up in 1971 and begun to provide a service from 1 Camden Park Road, formerly a corner shop, in 1979.
Services offered:
· The Association provides services for its members and other local people.
It lobbies and campaigns on behalf of the local community. The Association
helps get repairs done, contests rent rises, helps families and individuals
get rehoused, fights evictions, and campaigns for neighbourhood
improvements.
Opening times:
· Tuesdays 7.30pm. Weekly meeting and advice session. Do come if you have a
problem with accommodation.
· Saturdays 12 noon-2pm: Bring-and-buy (recycling locally household items,
clothes, records and books) and Drop-in Session.
