The
many new features of the Operating System
can initially be confusing, but in order to maximise the enormous potential
of Windows 2000, it is well worth exploring them. This is not meant as
an in-depth technical page, but merely as a guide for those who are new
to Windows 2000 and wish to optimise the performance of their system.
The next version of Windows 2000 is codenamed Whistler, and is scheduled
for release on the 25th October 2001 under the name WindowsXP. If you
wish to find out more about XP I recommend Paul Thurrott's excellent Supersite.
