From the Circuit newsletter.

"Once again it is with sadness that I intimate the loss of a member at Cosby. Mrs. Phyllis Wyatt passed away on 12th April. Phyllis was a staunch member ofand for many years was involved with our Ladies' Bright Hour. She is missed by all at Cosby.

We are getting to 'grips'! with our digital organ and thanks must go to two young ladies of the congregation who have taken on the task of taming and looking after the organ and programming it whenever it needs to be used. This is a great help to the stewards. The quality of the tone is very good. We are pleased with it and it lets our organist Keith, and his wife, have time away without worries.

On Saturday 5th June we held a coffee morning, plant and cake stall. All our usual friends in the village supported us, and £160 was raised for our church funds.

We had a very pleasant coffee evening on Friday 18th June when one of our members, Ann Abson, gave us her views, both photographically and verbally, on her recent trip to Japan to visit her son.

Our Sunday School Anniversary on 20th June was lwead by Rev. John Clarke and the theme was 'Travelling', both for holidays and in our lives."
