Having won a scholarship to attend Cardiff College of Music and Drama where she studied singing and music theory, Kay furthered her education by completing a three-year acting course at Birmingham School of Speech and Drama. Following a career in the theatre, music business and advertising she went on to become a mum. Kay now works for IMG/TWI. Never having lost the enthusiasm for singing, Kay joined The Chiswick Choir in 1995. She has sung with many groups of singers including Bel Canto, the Chiswick based, female, close harmony group and with the Grove Park Chorus. As a member of The Chiswick Choir Kay has sung solos and duets in several concerts. She is looking forward to singing solo again this summer with the choir and playing Papagena and 1st Boy in The Magic Flute with The Company of Singers.
