Crail is a very popular fishing village
located in the East Neuk region of the Kingdom of Fife. It's setting is an attraction to
both artists and photographers alike. Crail's small fishing harbor

is surrounded by meandering streets and
small old buildings often adorned with crowstepped gables. The village dates back to
medieval times as one of Scotland's most flourishing burghs.
Crail became a Royal Burgh in the 12th century and a thriving Sunday Market made the
village prosperous in the early 14th Century.
