What to Do

For those who have not visited us before the following holiday pursuits are available locally.

Festivals

The Pittenweem Arts Festival - annually in early August.                         Go Pittenweem

Crail Festival - - annually in late July ( 18th - 29th July 2001)

St Andrews is within 10 miles
There are are least 30 golf courses within the "Kingdom of Fife"
Crail Golf course is the 7th oldest in the world

Visitors can wile away the hours exploring the beautiful coastal and inland scenery

Bird sanctuaries are nearby. The Isle of May lies 5 miles to the south east and is home to a variety of bird life including several thousand pairs of puffins, razorbills, guillemots, kittiwakes cormorants and shags. Migrating species also use the island as a temporary residence. An exciting boat ride, from Anstruther, for all seafaring visitors.

Shops, pubs, beach, and harbour are all within walking distance

The Coasta Path is also worth walking. Information can be found at the local Tourist Information Centre.
