Putting on an event:

How will we fund it?
OMSK funds most events through ticket sales on the door, though sometimes we get funding from arts organisations such as the Arts Council.

Where will we get equipment?
Video and film projectors, PA's, screens, monitors and slide projectors for OMSK are hired or borrowed.
Where do we publicise?
OMSK publicises events by contacting the media and listings magazines, by sending out an e-mailing list and by distributing flyers and posters. If you'd like to help with our marketing or write about OMSK, please get in touch!

How will we get through the night?
With lots of help (see list of tasks)and careful planning. Use this event timetable to work it out!

What kit do we need?
We have a list of equipment needed for OMSK events. If you're putting on an event you can print it out and tick the items off. Or let us know if you've got some of this stuff and we can use it.

Whose work will be shown?
OMSK shows work by members of the OMSK collective, people who contact us and people whose work we've seen and liked.
