This section just has some ideas about serious things that boggle my mind, and some plain uncanny ones...

  • In the canteen, why does everyone stop and go silent if someone shouts "Cabbage"? -Just to let you in on a little secret, there a person in my form that everyone calls Cabbage. No-one knows why he's call that, but it may be because a) he looks like a cabbage or b) his last name is "boyall" and you can boil cabbages!

  • Get this: one of my books that I had had at home for years, but never read ("Notes from a small island, Bill Bryson) I decided to take to school. On that same day we started odds on things happening (probability) in maths, and a topic "Mysteries" in English. My book told of a time when Bill Bryson (and this is a true story) was trying to write an article for The Times, which was to be headed "Remarkable Coincidences", on a freelance basis. He had gathered lots of facts on coincidences, but not enough sufficent examples, so he decided to visit the ed of The Times. On his way into the building, there was a book sale on, which he popped in. The first book he saw was called "Remarkable True Coincidences". But - and this really is strange - on the first page the coincidence involved a bloke called Bryson!

  • The Bermuda Triange is so spooky too, and I hate it when things aren't explained... Go to my page about it
