Visit the homepage of one of the best electronic Bibles on the market. Available as CD-ROM and covers a growing number of Bible versions and translations, including several foreign languages as well as the Greek & Hebrew texts. At only £30 starting price in UK, this is one of the least expensive routes to obtain such a facility.  In the UK, the main distributor is the Timperley Evangelical Trust.

A supplier of one of the most professional electronic versions of the Bible.  They lay claim to be the industry leader in Bible software and multilingual electronic reference publishing. Several of my friends who are pastors recommend this.

The Evangelical Anglican church we currently attend as a family. This was one of the first churches in Britain to have its own Internet web-site.

The Church Society exists to maintain the faith of the Church of England and defend some of the basic tenets of Christianity. St Mary's Cheadle is a Church Society Trust church.

Reform is a network of Evangelical Anglicans committed to the continuous ongoing Reformation of the Church of England and the evangelisation of the nation. St Mary's Cheadle actively supports the work of Reform.

An Evangelical Anglican think-tank with its office at Oak Hill Theological College.  Visit this site for an in-depth critique of  the Theology of Rowan Williams, who is the due to become the next Archbishop of Canterbury.  This was researched and written by Garry Williams, lecturer in Church History at Oak Hill.  In this paper, he clearly demonstrates that Rowan Williams is a false teacher whose views are at variance with both the Bible and the doctrinal standards of the Church of England.

As well as being host to St Mary's Cheadle, Domini is also the web home for several Christian organisations in the UK.

The Debate between Islam & Christianity: This site is maintained by the Hyde Park Christian Fellowship for the purpose of enabling serious debate between Christians & Muslims about their beliefs.

The site of Bat Ye'or which researches the plight of religious minorities (dhimmi) in countries where Islam is in power.

This is a comprehensive synopsis by John Fulton of David Rohl's book "A Test of Time".
It is to be found under the historical section on the web-site for The Debate.

The home page of David Rohl's book on the New Chronology for the ancient Near East, as featured on the Channel 4 TV documentary "Pharaohs and Kings". This is a significant work with immense relevance to understanding the historical events described in the Old Testament.

I came across this page by following a link from The Free Reformed Churches of North America. Of particular interest is that it contains a very useful Christian Response to Islam containing a number of articles written by Christians who hold to the Reformed faith.

If you've read my personal history page, you'd know about my student days membership of the CICCU, which is associated with UCCF.
Here also is a link to IFES   the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students.

The home page of the Cambridge Inter-Collegiate Christian Union.

This UK based non-denominational evangelical organisation works for the extension of Christ's kingdom by encouraging, supporting and equipping Christian ministry in the workplace. One of its objectives is to help and support workplace Christian fellowship groups.

Based in Edinburgh, the Banner of Truth is one of the best publishers of Reformed Evangelical Literature that I know. Since it was founded in 1957, it has made a significant contribution to the world-wide revival of experimental Calvinism in the second half of the century. It publishes a superb monthly magazine, to which I have been subscribing since 1984.

This is the church in Metro Manila that I first visited when I was on a business trip in the Philippines for a week in January 1997. The pastor is Brian Ellis, whom I first met many years ago at a Carey Conference in the UK. Services are held in both English and Tagalog.

Reformed Baptist WWW Resources.

This is the web-site for the Grace and Truth Congregation at Rishon LeTsion in Israel, which is a Reformed and Baptist congregation of Jewish Christians. The senior pastor is Baruch Maoz, who has been a speaker at the Carey Conference and occasional contributor to Reformation Today.

The home page of the Southern Baptist Founders Conference, which calls for a return to the Reformed theology of the early leaders of the Southern Baptists in North America. Among other things, it hosts a search engine called Geneva for linking Reformed web-sites.

Alan Morrison's web-site which focuses on Christian apologetics and spiritual discernment.  Alan is the author of  "The Serpent and the Cross".
He and his family have recently moved to near Perpignan in France.  The Diakrisis ministry is now his full-time work.  You might like to subscribe to the Diakrisis mailing list, and receive regular articles by email on a wide variety of subjects.   Among the various articles on the Diakrisis site, there is a serious Biblical critique of the shortcomings and dangers of the all too popular Alpha Course.  Two articles focus on the scandal of spiritual abuse in churches.   There are many more.   Recommended.

This London library is a valuable resource for Christian ministers and students in Great Britain.  It owes its existence, under God, to the vision of two remarkable men, both now with the Lord.  One was Geoffrey Williams (1886-1975), a London businessman, the other Dr Martyn Lloyd-Jones (1899-1981), the widely known minister of Westminster Chapel.  Library members receive a quarterly bulletin, and may borrow books for personal study from among the more than 80,000 titles in stock.  I joined it in 1997.  Recommended.

This British monthly newspaper providing news and comment for today's churches has a sound Reformed Evangelical flavour. It contains meaty articles and useful book reviews as well as news items. I've been a regular subscriber for the last 20 years. Back issues are available on-line including a search facility. Recommended.

A British network devoted to analysing false trends in Evangelicalism. CRN's director is Peter Glover, who edited their first book "The Signs & Wonders Movement Exposed". The first issue of their magazine the CRN Journal was published in September 1997.  Among the various articles on this site, there is another serious Biblical critique of the shortcomings and dangers of the all too popular Alpha Course.

French Evangelical Protestant Missionary Society founded in 1957, engaged in planting new churches in France.  The British Director of France Mission Trust is Peter Farley, who was my OM team leader in 1968.

British based Evangelical Missionary Society founded in 1986 with the sole aim of bringing the Gospel to the people of Albania.  The director is my friend David Young, who was at Trinity College with me in the late 1960s.

Christian Witness to Israel is an international, non-denominational, evangelical missionary society reaching Jewish people with the gospel of Jesus Christ.  As an organisation it goes back to 1842 when the British Society for the Propagation of the Gospel among the Jews was founded through the influence of men like Robert Murray M'Cheyne and Andrew Bonar. As its ministry broadened the British Society became known as the International Society for the Evangelisation of the Jews. In 1976 the IJS amalgamated with the Barbican Mission to the Jews (itself having a history dating back to 1879 when "an agency for gospel work among the Jews conducted by Hebrew Christians" commenced in the Barbican district of London) to form Christian Witness to Israel.

The Evangelical Alliance Relief Fund.

Home page for Spring Harvest, including the Word Alive week organized jointly by the UCCF and Keswick. We attended Word Alive a few years ago and found that quite helpful. I couldn't speak for the rest of Spring Harvest! Some recent reports paint a sad tale of it being hyper-charismatic and dominated by the Toronto delusion. Be warned.   Since The Proclamation Trust now no longer are involved in the Word Alive, I have heard that it too is becoming more dominated by the Contemporary Christian Music scene.

This site has over 16,000 sermons indexed, plus links to a large number of sites on the World Wide Web where other sermons are to be found.

Useful churches directory and information service.

GraceNet UK is intended to become the Internet home for any UK-based Reformed Evangelical Christian organisations and churches. The purpose of their site is to act as a single point of access to a wide variety of Reformed resources, including a directory of UK churches and organisations. If your church subscribes to one of the Reformed Confessions, then visit this site and register your church to appear in the directory.

In 1792 William Carey wrote "An Enquiry into the Obligations of Christians to Use Means for the Conversion of the Heathens".  This tract was to become the foundation of  the modern worldwide missionary movement.   It led to the birth of the "Particular Baptist Association for the Propagation of the Gospel among the Heathen".  The full text of Carey's tract is now available in electronic format via the Missions page of this site.

Andrew Fuller was a close friend of William Carey, and a great Baptist theologian in his own right.  Until recently there was no on-line version of Andrew Fuller's, "The Gospel Worthy of All Acceptation". They have changed that at The Baptist Page. This other great doctrinal foundation to the modern mission movement can be found here.  This site also hosts the Church History web-ring.

Founded in 1766, the Gospel Magazine is thought to be the oldest religious periodical still being published. Its web-page is hosted by GraceNet, but I make mention of it here, as the former editor is my friend Maurice Handford, who also attends St Mary's Church in Cheadle.

Since 1960, Sovereign Giving has been providing a flexible, low cost Covenant and Gift Aid administration service for charities, churches and individuals. If you reside within the UK and pay income tax, and if you are not already involved in tax-effective giving, then check this site for details of how they can help Make Your Giving Go Further.   This service is especially worth knowing about if you are the treasurer for a church or charity.

Since its inception in 1892, the Bible League Trust has sought to encourage believing and reverent Bible Study, and to resist attacks made upon the inspiration, inerrancy and sufficiency of God's Word.
