Phil Johnson is also the curator of the Spurgeon Virtual Archive devoted to making all published works by the famous nineteenth century Baptist preacher Charles Haddon Spurgeon available on the Internet.
Another aspect of Phil Johnson's web-site is the Hall of Church History. A good starting point for students of this subject, the site contains on-line articles and links to other related web-sites. My web-pages about Robert Murray M'Cheyne are now a featured site, listed under Recent Stalwarts.

As you might gather from the title, the author holds to the "Five Points of Calvinism".

This site is posted by Robert & Tracy Liichow in Michigan. As well as a fascinating account of their journey out of heresy into orthodoxy, the web site contains useful up to date resources which expose the errors of the teachers they once followed. They spent 30 years in the charismatic renewal movement, which they now testify was characterised by self-delusion. This site is a must visit if you still think that speaking in tongues is for today.

Yet another useful web-site which analyses and exposes the so-called Laughing Revival and other modern spiritual deceptions. Good list of links.

A New Zealand based site posted by Philip Powell, which is committed to spreading the true Gospel of Christ and to maintaining "the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints". With this mission in mind CWM fearlessly identifies false teachers in the Church and issues warning about the aberrant non-biblical teaching that abounds in our time. While we believe in the present day reality of the Holy Spirit and His work in and through the believer in the fruit and the gifts we are opposed to the "Toronto Blessing" and to the "Pensacola" and "Revival Now" movements, which we are convinced are not of God. In fact it is our conviction that these are part of the end time deceptions of which our Lord and the apostles warned.
I include this as an example of the opposition to these false teachings even from within classical Pentecostalism.

Another site with a Latin title! - "Seizing the day, before the eyes of God" is a rough translation, a slant on what St Paul meant by his exhortation to "Redeem the time, for the days are evil." It is available free either from their web-site or as a mailed hardcopy. CEF is a member congregation of a presbytery in the Confederation of Reformed Evangelicals. It is based in Moscow, Idaho. The editor is Douglas Wilson. In addition to its commitment to classical Protestantism, the CA masthead indicates that it is also in essential agreement with "the random neuron firings of Stephen Jay Gould".
NB. If you want to see some independent comments about Gould, visit the web-site of Professor Phillip E. Johnson, via Access Research Network.
For over 100 years Our Inheritance Publications has been publishing tracts, leaflets and magazines to present the positive and progressive biblical ideals of Protestantism. This web-site features several books and booklets on this theme, and may be valuable for religious education resources.

This is a publisher of material relating to the Plymouth Brethren movement. Of possible interest is a CD-ROM containing the complete works of J.N.Darby. I have included this link because I was in fellowship at a "Glanton Brethren" meeting in the early 1970s, which is when I first came into contact with Les Hodgett, now the director of Stem Publishing. For anyone interested, this was at Cromwell Hall, in the Levenshulme district of Manchester. Your one-stop source for online preterist materials. This is at the opposite end of the eschatology spectrum than that of the Plymouth Brethren.
NB. Preterists believe that most or all of the prophecies in the New Testament were fulfilled historically in the first century A.D.
I myself am not a preterist. This link is provided for students interested in comparing the four principal schools of eschatology found within the Christian church, namely: amillennialism, postmillennialism, premillennialism and preterism. Many folk who have been brought up as premillennialists may be quite unaware of this one! A visit here may challenge your thinking.
When you've quite recovered from a dose of the above preterist extreme, have a look at this site. Historicsm claims to be the true Protestant school of interpreting Biblical prophecy, as opposed to both Futurism and Preterism. Another similarly useful link is the Historicist website. Protestant Reformation Publications is another site with Historicist materials on-line, including some from quite rare manuscripts. I found this site after doing a web-search for Francis Turretin (1623-87).
