Gort

Like many other of this kind, Gort has chosen to seek his fortune in the wider galaxy beyond the limits of his homeworld. His reasons for doing so are something he keeps quietly to himself, because he is sure that if news of his whereabouts were to become known to a certain Durg clan he could expect a midnight visit. For the moment he has found a suitable place to lay low, Ganipres shares many features with this native Malastare, the jungle being the most important one.

Gort is typical of his kind, he’s a bully and seeks advantage in every situation, he takes great pleasure in inflicting injury and killing things larger, faster and more dangerous than himself, then relishes the opportunity to boast about his exploits when drunk or displaying his trophies. Gort also has a certain fascination with practical jokes (the reason he acquired the slavers hand), most of his pranks are cruel and on occasion fatal.

Gort achieved his current position as security captain of a sluice mine in the usual manor; he created an opening for the post and then volunteered to fill the vacancy. The body of the former captain has yet to be found; officially he just walked out one day and didn’t come back, not that anyone really cares.

Using Gort in Game
Gort is most likely to appear as an adversary in the Restless Natives Episode <View Episode>. He rarely takes time off, unless he’s hunting in the jungle for a new trophy, in which case the characters my find themselves his next target. Gort is unlikely to assist anyone unless he is going to get something out of it.
