Iradin

Iradin was one of the fortunate few who has his Force talent recognised while he was still very young. In fact he can barely even recall that he has parents out with the Jedi Order. All his life he has been schooled in the ways of the Force and by his own preference a plethora of alien martial arts. While tutored early in life by a several different masters, including Master Yoda, at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant he served as Padawan to Master Josem Urnot on Arbor in one of the outlying Jedi Shrines.

However when a large cometry fragment shifted Arbor in its orbit causing vast environmental changes and geological shifting the shrine was abandoned and the pupils and masters moved to other facilities. Iradin was sent a head to ensure that preparations were made for the relocating Jedi students. Master Urnot never arrived, many of the students were missing, Iradin disobeyed his superiors and returned to Arbor to find his mentor. What he found was a world that was tearing itself apart and a massacre site. From two remaining survivors he discovered that shortly after he had been sent on his mission, three dark strangers had arrived and ransacked the shrine. Master Urnot and several Padawan’s were cut down when they attempted to resist.

Since that day six years ago, Iradin has searched for a trace of the strangers who killed his former master occasionally catching clues that have lead him half way across the galaxy. He has not turned his back on the Jedi Order; he recently passed his trails and has accepted his own Padawan for training.

Original Character
Iradin is based on the character created and played in the 'No Light without Shadow' Campaign by John Hardey.
Using Iradin in Game
Iradin is on a mission to uncover the murderer who killed his master. He realises that this is a personal goal and puts the will of the council before his own. From what little information he has gained he believes the killer he seeks may be a Quarren, though he cannot discern any motive short of pillage for the act of murder. Iradin is both kindly and good-natured, though deadly serious in a fight, he is likely to assist anyone who is not a criminal but will expect assistance or similar act of charity in return.
