Lorm Trot

Lorm Trot thinks of himself as being typical of his race, he dislikes violence and resents it when people force him to resort to it. He has a place in the hierarchy of Ganipres <View System>, a place that he has adjusted to slowly over the cycles. It’s a game for him, a battle of wits. He uses boredom and paperwork as a weapon, seeking to present himself as just another paper pushing administrator. While he bores his victim with mindless paperwork one of his lieutenants will plant contraband for him to find and fine the captain of the ship for.

While Lorm takes a certain pride in his job he holds a deep desire to leave Ganipres and seek intellectual challenge in the galaxy at large. He has been waiting a long time for just the right opportunity, slowly saving funds with the hopes of eventually buying a small starship or a suitable retirement off world. To this end Lorm has conceived a number of money making schemes he hopes will make him rich, he has fabricated several lies, including the creation of false computer entries on the Gamch local net. In essence he is selling on fake treasure maps, some point to legendary ruins on Ganipres others to distant places in the galaxy.

Using Lorm in Game
As a customs inspector in Gamch, Lorm is most likely going to appear as an occasional foil. Trying to fine or extort whatever money he can from the characters. Of course Lorm or one of his henchmen could approach the characters in a bid to get them to buy into a wild goose chase of a treasure hunt.
