Sol Tou-Kour

Sol Tou-Kour is not a native to Ganipres, in fact he cannot claim ever having had a homeworld, which causes him some concern from time to time. He was born aboard a refugee ship, a corroding metal shell. The refugees did come to Ganipres eventually turned away from one port then the next and finally betrayed and sold into slavery upon their arrival. Though by this time he was a teenager and his mother had long since died, he took the name of the ship as his family name, sometimes he wonders where the Tou-Kour is now.

Slavery of Sol was brief, he made a point escaping from it quickly by escaping the plantations where his master worked him and surviving among the mangroves. He learned his survival craft well and got a break when rescued a passenger from a downed air car and guided them to safety, the little reward money he earned was sufficient to outfit himself with equipment and supplies and go into business as a guide for hire, working with many of the big game hunters that came to Ganipres to collect trophies.

It was during one of those game hunting expeditions that Sol disappeared, assumed killed by some denizen of the swamp. In fact he had stumbled into the midst of a Grappa settlement, they took care to leave a few of his distinctive possessions where they could be found by the hunters and assumed dead. Initially he was a prisoner again, the Grappa could not let him go, he had seen to much, but the Spirit Talker looked into him and saw something, made him an offer, Sol accepted apprenticeship, rather than death.

Using Sol Tou-Kour in Game
Sol despises being held captive and would not inflict such a travesty on another being. Despite his past experiences he is some what naive expecting the best of people. He assumes honesty unless he knows otherwise. Sol is likely to be encountered as a prisoner in the Restless Natives Episode <View Episode>, but could turn up almost anywhere and render assistance or request aid.
