Institute of Clay Technology North Staffordshire Branch

The institute was founded in 1927 as The National Association of Clayworks Managers.

The Institute of Clay Technology merged with the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining on Friday 3rd February 2006. What was the Institute of Clay Technology, will now be called The International Clay Technology Association within the Ceramics and Building Products Division of the new Institute.

ICT Mission Statement

To provide members with opportunities to broaden their professional outlook and skills, thus enabling them to face change with greater confidence and thereby help secure a dynamic future for the heavy ceramics industry.

The ICT will achieve this by providing members with CPD, meetings, education and fellowship and with well-informed communications.
