This site is dedicated to all those who died between 1961 and 1989 in their attempts to cross the concrete and barbed wire barrier into Western Europe, and to the brave students who demonstrated in Tiananmen Square in 1989. It is also an attempt to ensure that the freedom they all sought will not be eroded by stealth here in the West. This has already started to happen.  |
