We would like to be referred to architects and designers who is highly experienced in designing/adapting homes for disabled/special needs individuals as well as guide on what help may be available from local councils etc. We also want to enhance the space, natural light, and beautify the house and its gardens.
The bungalow was built around 1971 and requires some modernisation. We do have a surveyor’s report that was carried out on July 2002. It is built of cavity brick walls under a pitched tiled roof. The property clearly needs a change of windows to Double Glazing, natural roof lighting, new heating and boiler, relocation of Gas/Electric/Water meters. Electrics to be checked etc.
We would like to take advantage of adding an extra lounge and introduce as much light as possible as well create a room/bath and play/physio room for our daughter who has special needs.
