halcyon daze

29th September 2001

Boats. Don't you just love em? In the preview for Halcyon Daze we took a look at some of the more memorable boating excursions of history and noticed that the high seas can be a perilous place. A deep seated nervousness set in across the land as the date loomed ever closer. would we capsize? Would we mysteriously vanish leaving a totally empty boat to be found by a passing Spanish navy ship?

Of course not. With flawless planning, the ten party daddies of the capital, known only as the committee, managed to stage not only a party that stayed afloat, but one of the most monumental nights in our history.

The full story of Halcyon Daze might never be known. On one magnificent vessel a Robert Altman style opus was performed with a cast of hundreds, interlinking all night, as all the little subplots slowly but surely intertwined, building and building towards an unforgettable climax.

bunhchofcaners.com is proud to present the words, the pictures and even the video footage of a night that will seep deeply into the collective psyche of all who voyaged with us. Enjoy....

You've got pictures like this to look forward to! Oh the shame!

Review 1: Nessi gives the female perspective.
