BunchofCaners Top Trumps
One of the sad truths of life is that as we get older we are consistently denied the pleasures of our childhood. When was the last time you were allowed a stick o rock at the seaside? Or to make mud pies to feed to the kid down the street? Have patches sewn into the kneecaps of your trousers?
One of these lost treasures is the classic card game of Top Trumps. Remember the sheer joy of turning over a card from your "Top Trumps Soccer Stars 1981" edition and seeing Kevin Keegan, realising that no-one could beat your shooting score of 99 and you'd win this hand? Moments like that should not be wasted just on children.
To make amends for all those lost days of playing top trumps, bunchofcaners are proud to present the "Top Trumps Bunchofcaners edition 2001". Simply print the following pages on a nice colour inkjet, cut out the cards and stop all work in your office, stop all study in your University or college. Gather everyone in and play caner against caner in a titanic battle recapturing the gladiatorial epics of those school yard days long ago....
Bunchofcaners Top Trumps Rules
Ok, can't actually remember the rules, but think it went something like this:
Two players, deal the cards out. Each turn over your top card, whoever's go it is picks a category and reads his score. The other player reads his. Highest wins. Winner gets to keep both cards. Or something like that. Play continues until one person has all the cards. Maybe. Anyway to spice it up, there are "Special" categories on each card. If it's your go you can choose to add in a special. The players then have a heated debate over which card's special should win, and there you go. Note that this game clearly shouldn't be played sober.
Enjoy.....

The small print - please note that the stats are not meant to be representative. Apart from on Drew's card obviously. And sorry for not including everyone at this point, but I got bored after doing all these!
