EFT

In order to release the blocked energy and restore equilibrium in the energy system, particular meridian points in the body are tapped. It's pretty much as simple as that. The beauty of EFT, unlike some other energy therapies where specific routines are used for specific problems, is that you don't need to know anything about the meridians to use it. You tap all the designated points. If some of these points are redundant, it doesn't matter, since it only takes a few minutes to complete the routine. If the problem is only as a result of blocked energy, then the use of EFT completely eradicates the problem.

Here's how it works. Let's imagine you're feeling angry. First, you need to make sure that, in relation to the problem, your energy is flowing in the right direction; if it's flowing in the wrong direction, then tapping will be ineffective. To ensure the energy is flowing in the right direction, find the sore spot and, pressing it with index and middle finger, rotate your fingers in small, tight circles, while saying three times, 'Although I feel angry about X, I deeply and completely accept myself.' Now you're ready to start tapping. Each point you tap about seven times or so, quite quicky, while saying to yourself (preferably out loud) the shortened phrase, 'I feel angry', or 'This anger'. It doesn't matter at all whether you tap on the left or the right side of your body. The tapping points are as follows:

(1) The inside of the eyebrow just above the bridge of the nose.
(2) On the bone just next to the corner of the eye.
(3) On the bone just underneath the centre of the eye.
(4) Above the top lip just underneath the nose.
(5) In the crevice just underneath the bottom lip.
(6) Just beneath the collarbone three inches from the middle of the chest.
(7) On the delicate spot three inches under the armpit. (This completes the short sequence, which is often all you need to do.)
(8) The bottom (as opposed to the tip) outside edge of the thumbnail.
(9) The bottom thumbside edge of the index finger.
(10) The bottom index-finger-side edge of the middle finger.
(11) The bottom ring-finger-side edge of the little finger.
(12) The karate-chop point.
(13) The groove between the knuckles of the little finger and the ring finger.
(14) Keep tapping the point above and repeating the problem to yourself as you rotate your eyes, slowly, first in one direction, then the other.
(15) Finally, in order to involve both hemispheres of the brain, hum the first bar of any tune; then count to four; then hum again.

Now take a deep breath and blank it all out. And check how you feel. The anger may have completely gone and you may feel fine. Alternatively, in place of anger you now feel hurt. Do the entire procedure again, beginning by making sure the energy is flowing the correct way by saying to yourself 'Even though I feel hurt, I deeply and completely accept myself', while rubbing the sore point as described above. If you still feel a little angry, start from the beginning again, using a phrase such as, 'Although I still feel slightly angry, I deeply and completely accept myself.' Your shortened phrase is now modified to, e.g., 'This slight anger.'

If your problem is blocked energy and nothing more - and many problems are nothing more - then EFT will eradicate your problem. If it gives temporary relief, then you may need therapy to overcome the problem completely. EFT will relieve virtually any problem, at least to some extent, and can't do you any harm. So use it often. But be thorough. Work through one problem completely before starting on another - unless, of course, you're using it for emergency relief.

Individual therapy will utilize all the appropriate therapies. Each session (apart from quit smoking) lasts about 1¼ hours and costs £50.
