THE PEACOCK PRINCESS, a Bulgarian fairy-tale, is now touring. Thanks to funding from the Alexander Foundation, this project has been provided with a professional basis. We intend to delight as many children (of all ages) with this lively and colourful story, which is almost two stories in one! To win his princess, the prince has to combat both a witch and a dragon, and undergo trials. He succeeds, thanks to the help of three friends, a fish, a fox and a crow... The premiere was on 23rd October at Michael House School, Ilkeston. Then on November 6th, we played before another spell-bound audience of children and staff at Russell's Hall Primary School. Eurythmy spoke directly, and we were most encouraged. From this success we hope for contacts with many primary schools.
