I have been interested in Genealogy for several years now and have been researching  family names on both of my parents' sides and on both of my ex-wife's sides too.  I have a reasonably extensive amount of information about the lines closest to the direct lines of descent, but far less about the those further out in the preceeding generations, unless, of course, I have been fortunate enough to locate someone else who has had more success than I.

I will, in due course be making GEDCOM files of the various branches to make them more accessible to anyone who wants to investigate further.

In the more recent generations, my  family were mainly clergymen, lawyers or soldiers.

My paternal side: (blue background)

Bryan, Lewis, Malone, Wilmot, Eardley, Eardley Wilmot, Kekewich, Blomefield, Sweet.

I have very little information about Lewis and Malone (both on Anglesea).  I have most information about the Wilmot, Eardley Wilmot families from 1539 in Derbyshire.

My maternal side: (pink background)

Walkey, Paske, Montanaro, Chamberlin, Forbes, Birch, Huyshe (Huish), Campbell, Reynell.

The information that I have is about the Walkeys in South Devon, Huyshes in Somerset, Reynells in Somerset, Paskes in Suffolk and Chamberlins, in Norfolk.  The Montanaros moved from Italy, through Malta to England.

My ex-wife's family were mainly farming folk in and around Somerset.
