1968 MGB GT.  Built on 19/20 November 1968 Exported to California on 26 November1968 Repatriated 1992

 
 

This car is a US specification export model and is Snowberry white.  It has covered at least 200,000 miles, maybe even 300,000 miles on the original engine, which has, sadly, expired.  It is driven virtually every day.  It is still left hand drive.   No bother here in England!  Oliver and  Amy both enjoy driving it too.

              During my ownership, I have renewed or replaced the following:
 

             Both sills and lower rear wings.
         Wiring harness
      All road springs
  Exhaust, LCB single Box System by Maniflow of Salisbury
         Front discs
      Carburettors
   Distributor


We plan to fit new wings, nearside door and bonnet and respray the whole car.

It has a 1950cc stage 2 engine from OSELLI which is lubricated with TORCO performance oil supplied by
C.A.M. Auto Developments Ltd

But it still looks rather scruffy and there is still a lot to be done, such as a respray and the complete interior!
