Appointed to the Store Department at Malta as Ordnance Clerk, April 1850.
Services:- Malta 1850-60 Ionian Islands, 1860-64 Guernsey 1864-65 Marchwood (charge) 1865-69 Stirling 1869-71 Ceylon 1871-74 Jamaica 1874-75 Pembroke 1875-80 Retired on re-organisation May 1880.
His eldest son Charles, who died of his wounds in Afghanistan, was stated to have been educated at the Southampton College, which is near Marchwood.
Amy Maud Mary was almost certainly born in Malta and was later married to Henry Gresham Paske at Pembroke Docks in 1876.
