PLAYONLINE TRAFFIC PROBLEMS

PlayOnline, which is Square EA's Web site that contains strategy guides, was overcome by traffic yesterday, when users attempted to view its Final Fantasy IX online strategy guide. The guide includes a complete walk-through, information about the characters, data about equipment, a bestiary, an ability list, and also hidden features.

PlayOnline's site has been reaching its maximum capacity on a regular basis since launch, which resulted in slow performance and access times; an inability to connect altogether. Square EA confirmed in a press release that it is working nonstop to get the site up and running. A print strategy guide, produced by Brady Games, also includes keywords that can be used at PlayOnline to receive more in-depth information and also to access secret areas the site contains.
