HP
Total HP of the enemy. This value can increase by hundreds or thousands based on the experience level of the enemy. Enemy experience levels vary parallel to your characters.

Experience
Experience obtained after defeating the enemy. Experience is distributed to characters based on their attack accuracies and number of attacks.

AP
Ability points obtained after defeating the enemy. AP is used to level up Guardian Forces.

Found At
Areas on the world map and sub locations the enemy can be found.

Attacks
Attack sequences or special attacks used by the enemy.

Weaknesses
Elemental and/or status ailment weaknesses that inflict considerable damage when used by magic, stat/elem junctions, or Guardian Forces.

Defense
Elemental and/or status ailment attacks that have little affect on the enemy.

No Effect
Elemental and/or status ailment attacks that have no effect on the enemy.

Absorbtion
Elemental and/or status ailment attacks that will gain the enemy HP instead of depleting it.

Rare Card
Triple Triad Card that can be obtained by transforming the enemy into it using the Card command ability during battle. This ability is available only from Quezacotl and has an extremely low success rate.

Available draw magic's, win items, and mug items change with the experience level of the enemy. Enemy experience levels vary parallel to your characters.

Level
Experience level required for the following draw magic's, win items, and mug items to be available.

1+ denotes level 1 to 19.
20+ denotes level 20 to 29.
30+ denotes level 30 to 100.

Draw
Magic that can be drawn from the enemy, based on it's experience level.

Win Item
Item(s) received from the enemy after defeating it, based on it's experience level.

Mug Item
Item(s) received from mugging the enemy using the Mug command ability, based on it's experience level.

Ifrit is fairly easy to defeat with a combination of physical attacks and ice-based magic's. Make sure you draw Blizzard from the Glacial Eye's that roam the area surrounding Balamb Garden. It's also wise to use Shiva, as he'll denote its power and eventually decide to join you.

Biggs is fairly easy to defeat. Save your time for drawing Esuna magic, then easily finish him off or wait for the tornado to blow him away.

Battle Strategies
Start the battle by drawing Siren. Draw double with one or two characters and immediately use it on the third character who will cure the others when their HP is getting low. Try to store as much Double with at least one character as possible for future boss battles. Use physical attacks in combination with Guardian Forces to defeat him. Take advantage of double and cast twice the magic for more attacking power.

Escaping
Summon Quezacotl and cast double thunder since lightning is his only weak point. After you have inflicted about 2000 HP, Zell will suggest running away. You can escape the battle by pressing L1 + R1. Repeat this strategy until you've reached the beach.

Defeating
Make sure you have enough double magic and that you have acquired the Boost and SumMag+20% abilities with Quezacotl. Cast double on two characters and let them cast lightning. Use the third character to summons Quezacotl and use your limit breaks when your HP is getting low. Timing is everything here, so make sure you cure your party members often.

Though not a difficult enemy, beware of his status altering attacks. Make sure you heal zombie status as quickly as possible, as curing a character with zombie will inflict significant damage. Nullify zombie status with Esuna and attack him with a combination of physical attacks and GF's.

Battle Strategies
The Final Battle of Disc 1 and it is quite a tough one. Edea has several brutal magic attacks which can inflict over 300 HP of damage. Make sure that one of character has the Item command equipped. Protect your party members with Carbunkle, reflecting her magic attacks, and use items for recovery. Cast your strongest GF's to inflict some serious damage. Limit Breaks are very handy also, so make sure Irvine has plenty of ammunition.
