Magic
can only be obtained by drawing it from an enemy and
stocking it. Magic can be used without posessing it by
drawing it from an enemy and immediately casting it.
The Draw is a command ability available from any
Guardian Force. To learn which monsters contain which
magic spells, refer to the enemies guide.
Magic plays a larger role than just defense and
attack. Magic is "junctioned" with a variety
of character status points which can affect the
performance and strength during battle.

Stocking
magic automatically alters your character's statuses
in all areas. The extent of the alteration depends on
the Guardian Force(s) equipped.

HP
|
Increases
character HP by this value.
|
Str
|
Increases
character strength by this value. Strength is the
measurement of power the character can inflict on an
enemy.
|
Vit
|
Increases
character vitality by this value. Vitality is the
measurement of how much your character can be cured
using a recovery spell.

Mag
|
Increases
character magic power by this value. Magic power is
the measurement of effecitveness and power the
character can inflict on an enemy with magic. This
value also determines the ability to successfully draw
magic.

Spr

Increases
character spirit by this value. Spirit is the
measurement of natural defense against status ailments
and is reflected on junctioned status defenses.

Spd
|
Increases
character speed by this value. Speed is the
measurement of time it takes the ATB gauge to
reach maximum, allowing the character to initiate a
command.

Eva
|
Increases
character evasion by this value. Evasion is the
measurement of avoiding a physical attack, resulting
in a "Miss!"
|
Hit
|
Increases
character hit success by this value. Hit is the
measurement of landing a physical attack on the enemy.

Luck
|
Increases
the chances of character survival during a battle,
based on the circumstances of enemy characteristics.

Magic
also contains elemental and status ailment attributes,
offering offensive and defensive capabilities. If an
equipped Guardian Force has the Elem-Atk-J or
Elem-Def-J abilities, you can junction elemental magic
as defense and offense attributes. If an equipped
Guardian Force has the Stat-Atk-J or Stat-Def-J
abilities, you can junction status ailment magic as
defense and offense attributes.
