This polo started out life as a plain motor your mum would love to do
the shopping in, but now is well on it's way to becoming a top car.
First the wheels had to go, if there is one Mod that is sure to alter
your car for the best it has to be the addition of some alloys. Ant got
a top deal on some 15 inch Ippons with rubber from Auto-Sport in
Bolton. Just Ł250 quid by asking the bloke for his best price, now
there is a bargain. Next game the clear indicators from a shop in
Manchester called J.B.S (0161 688 8391) Ł20 gets rid of the ugly
yellow ones and replaces them with a smart mod. Also from J.B.S
came the clear side repeators, Ł22.50 to help the clear light look. The
next change was the very sexy Kamie mesh grille from Awsome-gti.
This was one of the first polos to have one and for just under Ł70, a
bargain.

Well we've just had some more work done on the Polo so we decided
it was time to do another feature. It also helps that this time we
have Quacky and his digital camera to take some decent pictures.
Well everything in the first feature is the same. Wheels, clear lights
and the mesh grille is all still on the little dub. Since then however a
few new touches have been added. A couple a additions to the
interior first off, including a cool silver tax disc holder and a home
sprayed fire extinguisher in the passager footwell. Body wise we've
added CarSins stickers, smoked rear lights and the most awesome
mod yet, the G40 bonnet scoop. This took 4 days to fit and the
bonnet was cut into and smoothed to get the perfect effect (not just
stuck on like most vents.) Ben Kilcourse in Manchester did the work
and they will be setting up a site for the company soon. More mods
will follow no doubt, anyone got a spare two grand lying around???
