Hi
there and a special welcome to all the family of
Wode, Wood, Holz, Bosco, Dubois and Madera of the
World. But first may I tell you, I have no
qualifications at all, and I am a poor writer, so
please accept my apologies. I was born in 1933
and I am now a grandfather and like my
forefathers I am not a royalist or a racist or a
religious bigot and you may find this information
very boring but due to the amount of misleading
and unproved information that's been written over
hundreds of years and is still used today
concerning our surname I have tried to put these
records straight and it could be of interest to
read my long years of research.
As
a young person I wondered who were our ancestors
and how are we genetically connected to one
another and although we cannot trace back to our
original tribe or species I have worked back to
when the world revolved at a much faster rate
than today and this may help to explain the long
lived years of the earlier biblical characters. I
believe that god made all living things and that
we were born from earlier species of man, into
the present Homo Sapiens of today and like our
forefathers all males carry the Y gene and each
nation in general will have the same appearance.
Europeans differ from the Japanese and so on.
When reading origin and history you could be left
with the impression that our former tribes just
passed away this would be total wrong you see as
the tribes split up they formed new tribes and
called them selves by new names this also applied
when a Nation was conquered the former races
lived on and eventually intermarried. So please
