Hit Me Baby... Shaky's back !!! |
Saturday 9th April 2005 |
| Shaky stormed through to the final of Hit Me Baby One
More Time after whipping the crowd into a wild frenzy with his rockin'
rendition of P!nk's "Trouble". The studio audience voted
for Dr And The Medics, but the viewers weren't having any of it with
Shaky fans calling in their thousands! This slight hick up on
"This Ole House" did nothing to put the viewers off leaving
Belinda Carlisle, Haddaway and Jaki Graham standing. Yes Shaky's mania is back, as the internet is swamped with messages from ecstatic Shaky fans. more The final will take place on Saturday May 21st. http://www.itv.com/hitmebaby

Shepherds Bush concert |
Wednesday 6th April 2005 |
| Shaky wowed the crowds
at Shepherds Bush Empire on Wednesday April 6th, even the daily Star was
impressed.... "Shakin' Stevens, 57, was the ultimate Rock 'n' Roll icon of the eighties - and he showed us why when he took to the stage at the Shepherd's bush empire. The crowd went wild when, in true Shaky style, the Welshman - real name Michael Barratt - belted out Lipstick Powder And Paint before turning up the voltage with This Ole House. With his legendary leg-shake and Elvis-stance, he said it "felt great" to be back on stage 12 years after penning his last song. And it felt great to have him back." more It's also worth noting the concert was filmed for future commercial use
