Family Fun Day

Once again we enjoyed good weather and had a lot of fun at Trings leading event for all the family. There was lots to do for children and adults alike, with stalls for your favourite things, displays, a Bouncy Slide for the children, guitar and piano music and jazz throughout the day plus much more. Refreshments, including a Barbecue, were available throughout the day. But most importantly the "Teddies Tower Terror" gave the brave teddies and other cuddly toys of Tring the opportunity to absail from the church tower over the'pit of perils' to receive a bravery certificate for their proud owners.

10th & 11th November 2006

The second Pageant entitled "Tales of Old Tring" was performed on two successive nights to audiences in the packed church of St Peter and St Paul, Tring. Devised and produced by Grahame Senior the people of Tring were treated to the history of the town from Roman times, through the present, and speculatively, into the future. Memorable performances by the Tring Choral Society directed by Colin Stevens and by children from Tring schools dramatically brought to life the way Tring people lived from ancient times.

Sunday 15 October 2006

Apple Day FOTCH was represented at the Apple Day held at The Orchard, Cow Lane. The FOTCH stall was manned by trustees and attracted many visitors including children invited to make Sugar Rats.
