These pictures were taken on our return visit to Batterie Todt on 13th June 2002.
Upper right you can see the access stairway to the Flak emplacement on the roof.
Also note extensive shell damage from the attack by the Canadian troops.
This is the rear face of the Bunker with the magazine and access to the lower left


 

A very vague view (due to extensive undergrowth) of the front of the Bunker.....
The area is fenced off (a recent hole has been cut to the right of this pic)
On the left you can see some of the original side armour plate which survived the
attention of the French scrapmen!
