Dodge Viper GTS

After the popularity of the RT/10 Roadster, Chrysler needed no persuading to make the GTS Coupe and as first thought sales took off just as the RT/10 Roadster did in 1990. Like the RT/10 Roadster it had the same looks with different styling at the back to make it look like a coupe. This put it in the same class as the Chevrolet Corvette, Aston Martin Vanquish, Ferrari 550 and the rest of those that are worthy of the Grand Tourer name.

Spec

  • Engine - V10 - 8 Litre
  • 0 to 60 4.1 Seconds
  • 0 to 100 8.2 Seconds
  • Top Speed 200 Miles Per Hour
  • 6 Speed Manual Gearbox
  • 450 Brake Horse Power
  • Power Train Layout - Front Engine/Rear Wheel Drive

With the GTS Coupe being heavy they put the RT/10 Roadsters 450bhp engine in it and suspension for superb road holding which would find its way into the RT/10 Roadster later.
