After the popularity of the RT/10 Roadster, Chrysler needed no persuading to
make the GTS Coupe and as first thought sales took off just as the RT/10
Roadster did in 1990. Like the RT/10 Roadster it had the same looks with
different styling at the back to make it look like a coupe. This put it in the
same class as the Chevrolet Corvette, Aston Martin Vanquish, Ferrari 550 and the
rest of those that are worthy of the Grand Tourer name.
