Brief biography

Ged began his working life as a psychiatric nurse, before "Care in the Community" shut the psychiatric hospital down and turned it into yuppie flats. From there he went into youth and community work, working with physically handicapped youngsters and the long-term unemployed. Somewhere in there he got a degree from Bradford and a partner from London.

Ged took his first massage training with the legendary Richard Gaskill at the Fylde School of Natural Therapies in Millom in 1990. He has since studied massage with various teachers around the country. Ged is a member of the International Council of Holistic Therapists, part of the Federation of Holistic Therapists. As well as a massage therapist Ged is a director of a social housing trust in Toxteth, a much maligned and actually very pleasant area of Liverpool, and the artistic director of an independent theatre company.

Rates & Conditions

Please remember that we're based in the centre of Liverpool in the UK; we don't at this time offer a visiting service. A standard massage session will take one hour and costs:

  • one session £30 (UKP)
  • five sessions for £125
  • ten sessions for £200.
  • Sessions have to be paid for in advance to qualify for discounts; discount packages can be shared by arrangement. Gift vouchers can be bought for any length of session. Longer or shorter sessions are available pro-rata, but below half an hour there's really no point.

Your first session will generally be an opportunity for us to get to know each other, and to build up a picture of your needs and objectives. Depending on those needs and objectives you may wish to book in for a course of sessions, an occasional session or just the one. It always depends on you; the session is for your benefit.
