To
encourage students to develop, explore and enrich their understanding of the
human and physical world and to prepare them to participate fully in that
understanding with its diversity of constraints, opportunities and values.
To
stimulate interest and enthusiasm for the study of geography.
To deliver the national curriculum ( KS3
& 4 and NEAB A Level ) and prepare students for external examinations.
To enable students to explore the
geographical background to a variety of political, environmental, economic and
social issues.
To provide students with an appropiate link
with key stage 2.
To ensure students acquire knowledge of the
