One of the sources of ideas for Perry Products comes from finding solutions to problems that are not met by other companies.

So it is with the Pocket Perch.

The starting point in this case was the desire to sit comfortably when lightweight camping or cycle touring. Although small seats do exist, they generally fold down into a rectangular shape that certainly doesn't fit in any pocket and isn't ideal when using cycle panniers.

Basic materials are nylon fabric and webbing, fibreglass tent poles, plus assorted metal tubing and sheet.

The frame is threaded with shock-cord so assembly is a case of letting the seat pull itself together. All joints top, middle and bottom are hinged so the frame simply folds together compactly, then can be 'broken' (camping terminology) at the central pivots and folded in half.
