i told one of his daughters who lives in the states and she said hed done the same with them and that he will finish up old and lonely.tat said i still see him at the lane every now and then and he carries on as if we saw each other every day
john lives at laneham near retford and has just become landlord of the butchers arms whilst still working full time in the village
christine still happily married for about 30years
mam still alive but forgetful.knows whayt happened 40years ago

dad passed on int 2002 aged 81 ,not bad for a bloke who drank like a fish and smoked like a chimney

We are a strange lot!My part of the family are from the other side of the Penines from the Cumbrian village and have connections with Blanchland and Consett.
