The Carthy Quiz

To celebrate the release of The Carthy Chronicles on April 1, Free Reed and the Ram Club are giving you the chance to win fantastic prizes!

1st Prize: THREE Carthy Chronicles sets!!!
2nd Prize: TWO Carthy Chronicles sets!
3rd Prize: ONE Carthy Chronicles set!

There will be three draws to find the winners, with the same prizes for each draw, based on the most correct entries received at Free Reed by June 1 and December 1, 2001, and April 1, 2002, and winners will be posted on the rec.music.folk and on uk.music.folk newsgroups after the draw dates.

All competition queries should be addressed please to Free Reed. It goes without saying that there will be no cash equivalent, the judge’s decision is final – and all that sort of stuff...

Email your answers to quiz@free-reed.co.uk, and please mention that you have entered the quiz from the Ram Club website.

And by the way, if you are stuck on any of the questions, the answers can all be found in Colin Irwin’s excellent article – A Carthy Chronicle – on Martin at Free-Reed’s Carthy Chronicles website.
