Editorial
I wasn't going to do an editorial but, being in the cup final and all, I thought I'd put in my tuppence worth. Actually if the truth be told, I was let down by a contributor and have a page to fill the night before the deadline.
I won't dwell on the fact that we are fortunate to be in the final, becasue working in Falkirk I am fed up listening to the whingeing gits! Now I have to listen to huns telling me they are coming into peak form and another 5-1 is on the cards. These are the same huns who, in March had virtually conceded both trophies. That was before bastard Ally decided to spoli the party.
Last nights game was a dissapointment and I wasn't going to mention it until I read a comment in the Daily Ranger this morning.
The photo had the caption
"BARE NECESSITY...half naked Tommy Coyne celebrates the goal that gave Well a vital point"
Bollocks! Ex-Celtic player and loyal fan Coyne took off his shirt in celebration of the fact that Hearts had dropped two points in their championship bid, thus giving Celtic the advantage. Do you think Tommy Coyne gave Motherwell a moments thought as the goal went in? no neither do I.
By the time everyone reads this, the Edinburgh and Glasgow derby matches will have been played. Wins for both non-greens should make the run in very interesting any other combination of results will end our interest. I hope Rangers win. Nothing would give me greater pleasure than Hearts being the team that ended Rangers 10-in-a-row bid on 25th April.
