Win a Weekend Break!
Bus trips to exotic Scottish beauty locations commencing in August 1998
Our company have been forced recently to review our weekend destinations. No longer are Glasgow Aberdeen and Dundee the places to visit. Instead, we have gone for cheaper accommodation and can guarantee a day out that will never end in tears.
So, taking this new information, we at Holidays In Bonnie Scotland have arranged the following weekends away......
Stranraer - A new venue in our "Bonnie Scotland" tour
Kirkaldy - Just 'ower the brig' home of Crawfords bakeries (or am ah wrang?)
Ayrshire - Unite with the locals if friendly bar room brawls
Falkirk - Famous for taking in Edinburgh's homeless
Hamilton - Try and catch this nomadic tribe as they search for a new home
Paisley - This ain't as bad as you think, barmaid "Mirren the midden" will ensure that you enjoy all this picturesque town has to offer.
Greenock - Romantically situated on the Clyde, fames for it's 'disused cranes' exhibition, now entering it's 20th year.
Airdrie - Might struggle to fill a bus for this one, to be reviewed. Home of author W.Ereshit who wrote the childrens fairy tales 'Giant Killing in a cup', 'Wee Doddy winkie' and 'Diamonds are a man's best friend'
Mystery - Last years mystery location was closer to home, we visited Gorgie but had such an awful time, we won't be back for at least a year. Opportunities for mystery tours are going to be limited this year, as we are only likely to be involved for one weekend in January.
BOOK NOW, but remember, it's not going to be sunny all the time, so bring your green and white scarfs. During each trip we will be entertained by 1980's cabaret group the proclaimers, who will be singing their big hit 500 miles, you know the one "Paisley once more, Stranraer once more, Falkirk once more".
