THE BOROUGH HALL

Size: Auditorium 64ft x 64ft,
Stage 72ft x 24ft

Capacity: 500 (max 300 seated)

THE MINOR HALL

Size: Auditorium 40ft x 40ft,
Stage 20ft x 20ft

Capacity: 200 (max 100 seated)

Catering & Bar Facilities
GDA is currently unable to provide any catering services. If you have catering requirements, you will need to make private arrangements. Our kitchens are currently not operational, but a bar facility is available in the Borough Hall. We can arrange for this to be made available for use at your request. Please note that if you intend to sell alcohol you will need to make the appropriate arrangements to be issued with a temporary licence.
Licensed Events
GDA is currently applying for an Public Entertainment Licence, allowing the premises to hold public ticketed events. At present, however, you will need to make arrangements - including payments - for whatever temporary licences are required by law. We will require you to produce a copy of the licence issued for full confirmation of your booking. If you are unsure whether your event requires a licence, please telephone Jane Blade at LB Greenwich on 0181 312 5877.
Lighting and Sound
There are basic fixed stage lighting and at present no PA (sound system).
Costs
The cost is made up of a basic charge plus additional premiums or discounts depending on your requirements (eg, times which you need to access hall(s) to set up, cleaning charges etc).

Both our halls can be hired during the week or at weekends between 8am - 12 midnight depending on availability.

Hourly Rate

Mon-Fri: £50 p/hr

W/ends: £60 p/hr

Daily Rate*

Mon-Fri: £450

W/ends: £540

Hourly Rate

Mon-Fri: - £30 p/hr

W/ends - £45 p/hr

Daily Rate*

Mon-Fri: £270

W/ends: £400

*For hires up to a max of any 12 hours between 8 am - 12 midnight, you can elect to pay the daily rate (please note that this fee is exclusive of charges of cleaning and/or setting up tables and chairs).
Cleaning & Clearing
One hall hired £50 (set charge), both halls hired £80 (set charge)
Please note that you will need to pay for the whole time that you occupy the halls, including time for setting up, clearing away and vacating the building. We provide a Duty Caretaker for the duration of your event. GDA requests you make adequate supervision arrangements for any children attending the event.
