Following a period of research and development GDA is pleased to be hosting a showing of a new performance work in progress by Emilyn Claid with Josephine Leask and Simon Hyde.

Emilyn Claid is making a multi-media performance using digital film aminmation, spoken text, live interview and movement to reveal fragments and stories from a dancer's life. Afterwards, please join the company for a glass of wine and an informal dicussion about the piece.

Following the first presentations of their durational site-specific work Machine for Living, Carol Brown and Esther Rolinson will lead a one day workshop ikn which they will share their understanding and practical application of chorographic and visual arts collaboration. This will be of particular interest to those interested in the interfacing of live and digital performance work. Part practical , part demonstation, part debate the day promises to provide valuable insight and lively dialogue.

Following the success of Russell Maliphant's last visit to GDA, we are very happy to welcome him back again. The workshop will integrate principles and practices from a variety fo body orientated techniques (including Yoga, Release technique, Contact Improvision and the Martial Arts). The workshop will begin with general body practice and devleop to explore choreographic qualities and elements of contact in the creation of work.
