Roads
Above is a map of Norfolk illustrating all major and minor A-roads leading to Great Yarmouth. Two of the Major routes are the A47 from the Midlands (Leicester, Birmingham, etc.) and the other being the A12 leading from London and Ipswich.

Great Yarmouth has good links with the rest of the United Kingdom, with the A47 from the Midlands (Leicester, Birmingham, etc.), and the A12 leading from London and Ipswich. Then there is also the A11/M11 link which offers a faster and more direct link with the M25 London Orbital motorway.

Rail
Anglia Railways and Railtrack have recently refurbished the Vauxhall Railway Station in Great Yarmouth, which runs regular services from Great Yarmouth to Norwich, London, Peterborough, where connecting trains can be found.

Air
The nearest airport is in Norwich, which has improved its passenger charter flights both externally (europe and beyond) and internally (Scotland/London), and is also looking to improve the frequency even further. Local Public Transport
All the old Blue Bus, Eastern Counties, and Flying Banana opertors have all been bought out by the major bus opertor First Bus, who run very regular services throughout the Great Yarmouth borough and the rest of the county of Norfolk.
