Great Yarmouth's Market Place covers an area of 12,000 square yards, and has always been the centre point of the town.
Today it is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with an extra day (friday) being used during the summer. It contains a variety of stalls selling items from Fruit and Vegatables, Fish and Chips and Pet Food, to Clothes, Suitcases and Confectionary.
