There is a wide range of shows, attractions, shops and places to eat when you feel a bit peckish. Personally I would much rather visit Pleasurewood hills than Great Yarmouth's Pleasurebeach, as you get value for money and in a much nicer setting (no fumes and litter here!) |

Pleasurebeach |

South Beach Parade Great Yarmouth |
A seafront amusement park with over 70 rides and attractions, with the usual mix of thrill rides to childrens roundabouts.
If you are along Great Yarmouth seafront and want some rollercoaster action, then the 'Woody', the wooden rollercoaster in the centre of the Pleasurebeach is certainly worth a ride. Staring in the Madness pop groups 'House of Fun' video is its claim to fame, and although not one of the fastest or highest in the world, it certainly is a bone-shaker! The air around some of the rides can get very noxious at times, and it is not the cleanest of places, just think of your usual fairground that comes to town occasionally, and thats the Pleasurebeach! |

| Review 1 August 2004 |
The museum aspect of this attraction is reasonable and fairly interesting, with lots of different items of social history, along with a number of cars from yesteryear. However, the actual hall itself, although interesting to look around the upstairs 10 rooms + entrance hall, it is no way worth the £6.50 entrance fee or £10 combined ticket. I would recommend visiting Sandringham Estate, which is more interesting and worth the time and money | Length of visit: 2hr |
|   | ||

| Review 8 August 2004 |
Although there are only approximately 8 rooms in the main house to look around, it is the museum within the grounds, with its artefacts and explanation of the Royal Family over the years, which we found to be the interesting aspect of this attraction. With the added bonus of large areas of garden walks to roam around, and the woodland trails outside the garden walls this is definately a good value for money day out. Even if you are not too keen on the Monarchy, this has something for everyone. | Length of visit: 5 hr |

|
|
8 miles south-west of Great Yarmouth Tel: 01502 730224 |

| Review July 2003 |
Once again the usual rooms to wander through looking at the many objects. The maze is not that big, and doesnt take too long to find your way to the middle, however there is a nice place to sit and admire the views when you get there. Its a bit of a shame that the small light railway has now closed, but there are plenty of gardens to meander around. Try and find one of the many discount vouchers available in the resort guides. | Length of visit: 2 hr |
