The General's Daughter

Zzzzzzzzzzz.... huh? what? it's finished? S'pose I better write a review then.

John Travolta plays a though Jonathon Creek in a 2-hour special (minus the laughs). Or at least that's how it felt.

The General's Daughter (suprisingly enough) is apparantly raped and murdered and the General obviously wants to kill the 'son of a bitch' that killed her. Filled with cheesy lines galore and a suprising amount of violence for a simple CID investigation the story unravels more twists and bends than Julian Clarey and Dale Winton in the same bed with a bowl of spaghetti.

Wanting to know 'whodunnit' is enough to keep you in the cinema, but other than that it doesn't have too much pulling power once the obvious is revealed.
