Normal Steaming Day- (when trains are already timetabled to run)

Single return based on Adults £3.50 Child £2

Day rovers Adult £5.00 Child £2.50 less discounts

Number in party 1-14     Discount   0%

Number in party 15-29   Discount 10%

Number in party  30+     Discount 20%  

Special Steaming or Running day (i.e. trains are not timetabled)

If there are timetabled trains a steaming fee is not required

Allows for 2 return trips on the day at times decided by the special party

Basic Fee    Steam £75                  Diesel £40

Plus

Fares less discounts for numbers as above.

Example

For Party of 10 Adults 20 Kids and steam train on a special day =

Steaming fee                           £75

Plus 10 adults 20 kids

10* £3.50   = 30 less 20%  =   £28

20* £2 = 40 less 20%  =   £32       

Total cost of special steaming for party of 30 is   £ 135
