Camping La Roulerie, Charente Maritime
Situated 4 miles north of Saintes on the N150, this peaceful site is a convenient stopping place for exploring the region. Royan, Rochefort, La Rochelle and Cognac are all a short drive away. If you intend driving further south it is convenient for an overnight stay. There is no need to speak French here as it is run by an English couple, Guy and Emma Siddons, who will ensure a warm welcome and a pleasant stay. The rates are very reasonable, emplacements are of a very generous size and secluded, above all the showers are hot, not tepid as on many sites.
