The hiflex thrift is a cost effective rapid roll door designed for busy openings with high traffic flow.  Manufactured to suit individual requirements.

Much has been written and said about High Speed Rapid Roll Doors since their concept some 20 plus years ago.  It is a fact that they do improve the working environment, reduce excessive noise levels, help keep out dust and vermin and dramatically reduce expensive heat loss.

The THRIFT is a vertical roll fast action traffic door.  The blind is made from a polyester class 2 fire retarding material, fitted with integral wind bars and a clear PVC vision panel at eye level. The side guides have double brush seals fitted for maximum draught protection. 

The drive motor is microprocessor controlled. This allows the opening and closing speed of the door to be individually varied.  It also controls the braking electronically and has a motor protection feature.  The controls allow automatic or manual operation.   In automatic mode the door cycle time can be varied to suit traffic flow.  As standard the door is fitted with a safety photocell which will detect any obstruction left within the doorway and prevent the door from closing.  For additional safety the drive motor is fitted with a fail safe mechanical brake. This will prevent the blind from unwinding should the power fail or when the door is switched off.
