Within Morden Hall Park is a snuff mill dating from the 19th century. The snuff was made from grinding tobacco into powder. It was obviously lucrative at the time as the family who made money from it created the Park.

The river races through the gap and provides the power to turn the millwheels. Then once more the roaring foam subsides and becomes the gentle winding river.
Grinding Stones
Outside the mill are two of the old grinding stones used to grind the tobacco.
